Pâtisserie Rhubarbe opened modestly in october 2010. Stéphanie Labelle believed there was a need for a pastry shop with local and fresh produce in Montreal.  She decided to jump all in when the original spaceon de Lanaudiere was available for rent! She had 8 years of experience as a pastry chef in restaurants and pastry shops.

Julien Joré, chef cuisinier for 20 years, has been Stéphanie’s first line helper since the begining, but officially became partner when the shop moved and he settled in the old space to create Comptoir Rhubarbe, for the savory take since 2017.

Because of the global issues, we decided since march 17th 2020, to close the comptoir, to be able to concentrate our energy on one space in Laurier. We now offer savory options in the pastry shop on Laurier. Thank you for your daily support.
